Question 1

What is the cheapest way to send a parcel from India to the USA?

Accepted Answer

For small parcels, a traveller with spare luggage space is often cheaper than courier rates per kg. On Navigia you agree the price directly with the traveller, and the platform is free during launch.

Question 2

Can I send Indian food to the USA?

Accepted Answer

Sealed, commercially packed and labelled dry foods are commonly carried if the traveller agrees. Avoid meat, fresh produce and home-made perishables, and declare all food to US customs.

Question 3

Can I send documents to the USA with a traveller?

Accepted Answer

Yes, documents and certificates are among the most common items. Keep copies, and put them in a clear folder the traveller can check.

Question 4

How do I know my parcel was picked up?

Accepted Answer

After pickup, tap Request photo to get a photo of the item from the traveller. You can also use Track my parcel to follow its status.

Question 5

How is payment handled?

Accepted Answer

There's no in-app payment yet. You and the traveller agree the price and payment method directly before handover.

Question 6

Do travellers go through ID checks?

Accepted Answer

ID checks are optional on Navigia, so please read profiles, chat first and meet in public.
