Question 1

What is the cheapest way to send a parcel from India to the UK?

Accepted Answer

For small parcels, sending with a traveller is often cheaper than international courier charges. On Navigia you agree the price directly with the traveller, and the platform is free during launch.

Question 2

Can I send Indian food to the UK?

Accepted Answer

Sealed, shop-packed dry food like snacks, sweets, tea and spices is commonly carried, if the traveller agrees. Avoid meat, dairy and home-made perishables, which the UK restricts, and declare all food honestly.

Question 3

How do I pay for sending a parcel with a traveller?

Accepted Answer

There is no in-app payment on Navigia yet. You and the traveller agree the amount and how it will be paid before the handover.

Question 4

How can I check my parcel after handover?

Accepted Answer

Tap Request photo after pickup to get a photo of the item from the traveller, and use Track my parcel to follow its status.

Question 5

Can the traveller refuse my parcel?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Travellers carry parcels through customs in their own name, so they can decline anything they're not comfortable with.
